DOUG JASIK

       Doug brings joy and excitement to the study of music.   "All young people are musically gifted."  From total beginners as young as six, he succeeds - with an endless supply of enthusiasm - in building his students' enjoyment of music and their self-confidence as they become more accomplished violinists and violists.  

             His patient and precise guidance has led many of his students to be selected for "senior strings," "select strings," the Chester County Youth Orchestra, and other honors.

             Doug's teaching reflects a rich and diverse background that includes graduate studies in Music Therapy and multiple certifications in Early Childhood Music Learning.   In addition  to his skills in traditional violin pedagogy, he has developed techniques for teaching Blues, Jazz, improvisation, and composition on the violin, viola and piano.
